It does favour the girl more because even if the boy is younger then the girl by a few years he can still be looked at as the bad one.

It depends on were you live. It actually changes a lot depending on were you live. Some places its 16 some 18 and the laws within vary alot. I took a law in high school and researched the laws of consent sense then so I know quite a lot about it for Ontario Canada.

I cannot go in depth because its to hard to say in words read the government site and you will see what I mean or if you have token law. Anyhow in the relationship they will take every factor into effect like the ages , how longer have they been dating , how fast has the relation ship progressed into sex and what type of sexual things , who has more power in the relationship , did the parents know , who else knew? and about an other 50 things lol.

Someone said Texas was 12? So I was wondering and I looked it up. Unless this site is wrong its 17 there. Anyhow I am only posting the site just to show you how confusing the law can be.

Note: The Canadian law is much more confusing then this much more to it when it comes to the age of consent.

As far as I know, the age of consent has to do with the age at which a young person can have sex. It has nothing to do with voting. The age of consent varies from state to state. The voting age is 18 nationwide. As for the connection to the political parties,
young voters are more influenced by the polls than any political party loyalty.

Depends on the state as to the age itself (16 in Kentucky). Invariably it favors the girl, and if she's not of the age of consent, any sexual acts are considered rape, even if she agreed.

Depends on the state, but in most states the age is 18.
