Soap first!

It depends. For bar soap, unless you have horrible sweaty hands, you need to wet first. For the liquid stuff it probably doesn't matter. Personally I wet first, then lather. If you put the soap on dry, the force of the water sometimes rinses some of the soap off before it all lathers. Also, some soap manufactures give directions for use. The stuff from the Bath & Body place tells you to wet hands first. Go figure.

If it's liquid soap (in a pump)... I put that on first. Most of them are antibacterial and they work better if not diluted.

Bar soap... gotta have wet hands to use it, so the water comes first.

I wet my hands first. Soap won't make bubbles without water.
