Generally when one worries, one catastrophizes situations and looking at all the negative responses rather than the positive ones.

To stop worrying , write your problem on a piece of paper, then divide the paper in two.

Start with the positive results that could happen, don't let the negative ones come in. Write as many as you can in ten minutes.

Now write the negative what ifs, only ten minutes worth. When you're done with that look at the negatives ones and in ten minutes write out positive outcomes for those negative reactions.

Worrying doesn't help the situation, it just makes you more upset and more worried.

Try and find a positive action or attitude rather than a negative one.

I know it's hard, but from one who worried the stress from worry can do evil things to not only your mind but your health and body too.

try making a place inside your head just for you that no one else can find and nothing from the outside world can penetrate and go there often, also i find making a journal and wrighting down all of my worries helps. sometimes just getting it down on paper gets it off of your chest. it's quite a reliefe.
