When I was in wal-mart this morining, I saw Camilla in the cover of a magazine. The headline says, "Thief!: Camilla stole Diana's jewels!". St the bottom, there was a small picture of Princess Diana wearing a beautiful necklace with a pendant that has some nice stones in the middle with a dangling water-dropped shape jade at the bottom, in the larger picture of Camilla, Camilla was wearing a brooch. I thought "That brooch looks familiar.". It was actually the same pendant that Diana wore, but Camilla turned it to a brooch. I think she is a thief. Camilla, have respect to dead people's property.

Why should it surprise u that the homewrecker would encroach?
Had she completely removed herself form her now husband all those years ago he may have acted a man and honored his vows. So, now we have 2 adulterers married to each other. Thief you ask? She was that and more from the moment Charles married Di. How about the entire royal family being "thieves". They haven't any real authority yet they live off of the taxes of the hard working people. It's all shite.

If that is true (and I say "if"), then Camilla would have the brooch for a reason. The Queen has the world's largest jewel collection, and there are many pieces that are rarely seen -- simply because they have so much. If this is the same brooch that I am thinking of, I remember seeing a picture of the Queen wearing it, years ago. So, if the Queen has it in her collection, then she will share it as she wishes.
The same could be said of the big diamond tiara that Camilla wore about a year ago. The tiara had not been seen in years, and it belonged to the Queen's grandmother, Queen Mary. But, the Queen felt it was suitable that Camilla wear it. I am attaching two BBC articles about this.

No, most of the royal jewelry is a communal cache that is kept in the Tower of London and the royals can go in and take out whatever the wish to wear for their functions.
I saw the story it is completely ignorant and sensational. Camilla, as the wife of Prince Charles is entitled to wear the royal jewels and that piece never was actually owned by Diana.
I loved Diana and I don't think much of Camilla but I have to tell you the way it really is and this is how they do the jewels in England. Pieces that were given to Diana and were her personal jewels have been inherited by Harry and William and are being held in trust for them: Camilla cannot touch them.

Just a dramatic headline, some jewellery is owned by the Monarch to be used by other members such as Diane, Camilla etc but not owned by them personally.
Items of jewellery given to Princess Diana, were disposed of in her will according to her wishes, most I believe has been left to the two boys, and I have read that her engagement ring designed by Prince Charles has been left to Prince William
The only thing she stole was Diana's husband Prince Charles!

The jewellery in question doesn't belong to either Diana or Camilla. It belongs to "The Crown". She just gets to wear it, not keep it. It never becomes her personal property.
I do agree that wearing a piece in public previously worn by your husband's dead wife shows not only a total disregard for the many who adored Diana but also demonstrates an amazing level of bad taste. (Good taste is not one of Camilla's strong points anyway) It doesn't make her a thief, however.
And yep - I agree wirh the previous poster - who really cares? Lots more important things to discuss than what the British monarchy are prancing around in.

News Alert!!! News Alert!!! When someone dies they no longer own ANYTHING.
Accusing someone of stealing because you see this jewelry? Perhaps it never was Diana's, perhaps it is part of the monarchy's jewelry; perhaps it's owned by the UK? Perhaps William inherited it and gave it to Camilla or Harry, or Charles got it in the divorce settlement? Maybe it's part of the set and Elizabeth has the ring and Edward has the ear rings.
Whatever Charles and Camilla do really isn't any of your affair and that family can take care of it's own jewelry.

1. Supermarket Tabloids usually have about 95% to 98% error in what they say -- some of them considerably higher than that!!
2. Diana is dead; Dead people don't have "property", as such -- excepting that with which they are buried.
3. Tabloids could have did some computer "magic" with that pendant.

Well what did you expect now? She stole Diana's husband didn't she? To a person like Camilla...all men are fair game...and apparently their jewelry too.

Yeah I saw that too. That's really how I read the tabloids, just stand in line and read the covers, lol. Anyway, I think that same publication said (last year) that William and Kate were already married (like they eloped) and that's why they were living together.

I guess she was wearing it as reminder to everyone that Di is dead and she is now in her place. I don't think you can steal from a dead person unless you actually dig the graveyard for it.
Who knows, Charles might suggest that she wears it??
