I have not been breastfeeding for atleast 3 weeks but I have not started my period. I had my tubes tied and burned so I know that the chances of getting pregnant are slim.

My period came back while I was still nursing. Hang in there and enjoy the absence. It will be coming around soon enough. You sound like you have totally been taken care of in the birth control department.

Although many say that your period does not return until you stop or cut down on breastfeeding, several friends got theirs within a couple of months. I got mine after 11 months. Some people do not get their periods until after they have stopped completely, which I know happened with several people as well.

It took me almost 6 weeks. It really all depends on how long you breastfed. I nursed my son for 12 weeks. With my first, She could not nurse, so I pumped for 6 weeks until my milk dried up and got my period 2 weeks later.

I did not have a period for 6 months after I stopped breast feeding.
It was wonderful.

It took me 8 Months after breast feeding to build up the estrogen needed. If your tubes were tied you shouldnt produce an egg or bleed.

It depends on the person on how long it takes to get your period back. Ask your OB/GYN.

Well you should of asked your doctor, but from my experience it took up to four weeks. You should enjoy it.
