i need to know what these things are by wednesday , nov 1, 2006 becuz i have a test....have a general idea but i need more info....the internet has WAY to much info.

* cellular respiration"
* aerobic
*anaerobic (alcoholic & lactic acid fermentation)
* whats ATP and how is it produced
* endergonic & exergonic reactions
* some process invilving glucose, production of ATP, Krebs Cycle , electron transport chain.
*photosynthesis and it's cylces and processes.

PLZ give me some good info on those topics....any1 or all of them, it dont matter.

One more thing.....Whats the best way to get prepared for a test?

ATP stands for adenosine triphosphate. Adenosine is like a sugar and forms a backbone for the attachment of phospate groups which are energetic.

Glucose and oxygen are metabolised in aerobic respiration, anaerobic respiration also occurs. Both processes net some production of ATP from ADP (adenosine diphosphate).

The respiration processes occur in the christae of mitochondria.

ATP floats through the cellular cytoplasm, and is used all through the cell as an immediate energy source. Even the resiration process itself uses some ATP to start and continue the reactions of respiration.

The best way to prepare for the test is to take these topics you have listed and look through the articles you find for common pieces. Keep moving through this material. Focus on what keeps popping up. That will be the important stuff thats on the test. Look in your book after this. Much of the internet stuff will be over the level of the test.

Don't get too overwhelmed. You have enough time to prepare before wednesday, if you work steadily and don't panic.

Good luck.

I might sound like a total dork for this, but here is how I studied for tests:

I would think of questions that could relate to the subject. For example, "Explain cellular respiration and it's importance to life" or "Explain photosynthesis, including all cycles and processes and what is produced during each cycle". I would type the question and answer it, print it, and go back and remove the answers and leave only the questions. Therefore I had a 'mock' test, and I would make sure I could answer each question thoroughly...I never made less than a 96 on any of my biology tests...and I was a biology/pre-med major in college...

Well I wanted to help you out cause I know school is hard, but when I saw the questions I realized I would have to look them up.. I aready have my degree but not in what ever this is... it looks like your taking an envirolmental class... I don't remember much about that subject.. sorry I think your on your own here.. and as far as how to prepare for a test.... Well going through the process of looking up the info is half the learning process... believe me after you look up the info you will remember it better rather than having someone else do it... after you get your answers, study them by using key words to remember them.. good luck to you...

All I can say is, the best way to prepare for a test is this.

Everyday, after school, study everything you learned that day in each subject for about 15-20 minutes. Doing this, you will grasp what you learned better that day, and you`ll have a better understanding of it. But while studying, dont lie down, sit straight up(laying down causes you to get tired;) ) Do this everyday, so that way, you wont have to study for 10 hours the night before a test or quiz. AND, doing this, you will have a lot more social time on your hands.
