What's up with the hair? And the name - Sister Bear? Why protest so much about not being gay? I would only hope your girlfriend reads your question and sees what a jerk you really are by just renting a movie to get into her pants. I know that would be a major turn off to me. Let me tell you...I HATE love stories and I still LOVE this movie. I'm really into action movies, bloody gory movies, and typical "guy-type" movies, but The Notebook is VERY good.

It was a good movie so who cares what they think. My man watched it with me. It's got some good scenes in it.
