I know that they're movie but they're books as well, both by Nicholas Sparks. Should I watch the movie first or read the book?

Read the book first, then watch the movie and see if it's same as the book because some movies do not follow the book.

Read the book first in A Walk to Remember but with the Notebook watch the movie first.. It will ruin the movie if you read it first.. But I do say that you need to read and watch both because they are my favorite books and movies..

Not sure about Notebook, but with A Walk to Remember it depends on what you want to do, I saw the movie first, but still say the book is better. Either way it's up to you, but in all honesty it's usually better to read the books first.

Always read the book first, it's so much better when you do. I read 'The Notebook' and have yet to see the movie but if it's anything like the book it should be great.

I would go with the books first (9 times out of 10 the book is better...though they are both really good movies as well).

Both are great movies and great books, both books and movies will make you cry. They change the story slightly in the movies so you may want to read the books. I dont think it matter though if you read the book before or after.

Almost always, the book is better than the movie. There's usually so much of the original story they have to cut or change to make the movie "work", that it loses something in translation. If you have the time, read the book.

well i think you should watch the movies and then read the books or really you could read the book first it really doesn't matter they are both wonderful
