Ok, my friend is 16 and often goes to parties with alcohol. He tells me about the awesome times he has had ther and that i should come. He also tell me that he gets drunk and that its a lot of fun. Im not into that at all. First off-im a swimmer and if i start drinking, my performance is gonna slip. I argue with him about it a lot and keep telling him that its really stupid and that the only reason he does that is because hes bored and has nothing else to do. He counters with that lots of hot chick go to those parties and he gets to hang with them. I tell him that those "hot chicks" have no future and neither does he if he jkeeps it up. Im a little concerned because we have been best friends since 6th grade and our relationship has slumped over the summer for many reasons including this one. What should i do?

tell him f the only way he gets to hang out with hot chicks is being drunk then he's doing something wrong. tell him you care and dont want him to do something stupid. Ask him why he cant go to the paries and just not drink and have a good time.good luck

well either stop trying to fix him(bc that isnt what he wants) or move on. I mean he obviously thinks (like most teens do) that this is fun ...well until someone dies (prolly will be him) from alchol posioning..but then again just look at all the hot chics he met, right..next time he goes...put in an anonnomous 411 to his mom n dad n let them deal with his sorry behind.
