Because he's the more famous one & a former Beatle while people view her as the young gold digger. As far as I see, everyone have flaws, so it can't be all her fault that their marriage fell through.

Sir Paul is an INTERNATIONAL treasure. If Paul was a jerk, he would have already shown his true colors by now. I do feel sort of bad for Heather because no real female Beatles' fan wants to see their heart throb marry and have children with anyone other than themselves. Classic fan behavior.
I totally understand what you are saying and I just wish they would just stay away from the media all together.
Heather didn't earn the respect and acceptance of Sir Paul's fan base before marrying him. She should have read a few pages from Yoko Lennon's book.

Because everyone suspected that Heather was just after Paul's money. Now it seems true. Too bad she had to bring a child into it just to make sure that she is financially set for the rest of her life.

I think it has to do with how well liked he is. Heather Mills has done very little, if anything to earn the affection of his fans. I'm sure there are people on her side, but the fans that he has gotten over the years will not be willing to hear her out until there is hard evidence against him.

Paul McCartney was established years ago as a nice guy...intelligent, level-headed with a great sense of humor, and a positive outlook. Throughout his entire career, there have been no reports of any abuse from his wife, Linda, or his children, and there have been no public outcries of abuse from women who come out of the walls and claim he is the father of their child, or sexual abuse or any other nonsense. Throughout his public life, he has not been ashamed to show affection for his loved ones in public. He has not been in and out of Rehab. He has not been in the news for wrecking his car while being high or intoxicated. He has been Knighted by the queen of England. People are taking his side...because he deserves our respect, and has it.

Whatever happens she's going to walk away with the money from a lifetimes worth of great art for nothing other than pretending not to be an escort girl for a couple of years. What is he walking away with? The honor of being made a fool of by a system that favours women to the extent that she can expect to become a multi millionaire for deceiving an old man and thieving from his family?
