Can someone explain reflexive properties to me for Bastract Algebra? For instance if A = {1, 2, 3} what are the reflexive ordered pairs?

A binary relation R is reflexive if for all x in A, (x, x) is in R.
So if your A = {1, 2, 3}, then R is reflexive when (1,1), (2,2), and (3,3) are elements of R.

These (1,1), (2,2), and (3,3) are called the reflexive ordered pairs.
