I have just got a Laptop. I think I am will be able to set a copy of Vista Express but I think I rather return the laptop in Jan and get a Preinstall by begginning of Feb. I want a duo and don't care about the hardDrive space. I will get a 1000$ in cash card in oder to get the other laptop. DO u think Getting a Preinstall and knowing u will get the best out of ur pc is better than getting it Express.

I allready bought a LAPTOP but I can return it even if the data is over my dad knows the manager and all the people that work in the return thing in COSTCO. But I am going to return it on a week or 2 before my warrenty expires. Which will be on 26 of FEb or early if vista comes Early.

Personal advice as someone who is already running RC1 one my Sat Pro - buy your own copy of Vista! Yes you will then have to chase up the drivers for your laptop (you'll find the manufacturer will make those available for ppl taking that option), but you'll also spare yourself the clutter of all the OEM add-on software, most of which are simply a waste of space and system resources.

It also means if you have any difficulties with Vista, you can contact MS directly rather than being given the run-around by your laptop manufacturer.

Oh, the other advantage in owning your copy is that it makes it much easier to dual-boot for those software incompatibilities caused by certain developers slow to release a Vista compatible version...peace of mind and all that :)
