I've got an ATI Radeon 9550 256M running output on a DVI cable onto a digital flat planel i'm having problem

i go to play games and the system s run real or mostly alot of laggin slow i'close odd and end programs down to a minum. i keep system clean can i do something to sped thins up i thought i had enough memory in the card to stop this.. help anyone

It sounds like you either have a slow computer or you didn't install the correct driver. If you have a fast computer and you think you have the correct driver, then you will need to check ATI's web site to see if they have any updates to their driver.

By default, windows will load a plain driver just so that you can access the Windows Desktop. The windows default is not enough for fast rendering.
