I'm using Windows XP right now and I placed a password for my account, but my younger brother said something about pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE multiple times can get you in the computer without answering the password. I was wondering how you can let people NOT enter your computer even if they press CTRL+ALT+DELETE multiple times?

younger brother is not correct, password will keep him out, ctrl alt delete will not break in...be sure to put a password on the admin account, one can go into safe mode and access the admin account and if it is not password protected, then access to the computer is possible

You can not get around the password by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE multiple times. He might be able to get around the password by pressing F8 repeatedly during boot up, and forcing the computer into Safe Mode. He can then use the Administrator account to get in. If Windows came preinstalled on your PC, then usually the password for that account is left blank. To keep him out, go into the control panel, select the User Account icon, and the Administrator account. Reset the password and he is locked out.

Huh? Have you tried this? To my knowledge, pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE does nothing. Methinks thy younger sibling hath bird droppings for brains.

You can override someone's password, if they know how to do it.
