well, if you can work full time, you should apply at a dialysis clinic. I dont know where you live, but they are all over, it is a place where people with kidney failure go to get their blood cleaned. Try Fresenius (a good company's name). They will pay you 9.98 an hour to train you for 5 weeks, and you'll work 40 hours a week, then they will start to pay you per patient that you give dialysis to, and you start out at 19.98 per patient, and you will do 7 or 8 patients a day. I just started with it in June, and before that I worked at a retail place called Kohl's for 3 years as a cashier. The only experience I've had in the medical field was some classes I've taken in school, & some volunteer work. Plus before my interview, I really researched what dialysis was, cause I had never really heard of it! That's how somewhat easy it is to get in! ANyway, Good luck to you, I don't know if that helps, but that's the first thing I thought of :)

I've had friends who started as bag boys at supermarkets and 15 years later, became manager. Unfortunately, the manager is usually the only position that makes any money.

You need to look long term. Do you plan to work in a supermarket long-term? If you had a good/great job, would *you* hirer someone like you? You need skills so that means either going back to school or working hard with on-the-job training.

Good luck
