That is ridiculous.. I never put my chewing gum on a bed post at night.. I usually put it on the bottom of the box springs and yes, the flavor, for me, does stay OK over night.. Just put it on the edge.. you know.. when you reach down to the bottom of the box spring(not the mattress) and in the morning, It is good to go again

Depends on the type of gum. When it's cheap (chiclets, bubble yum, anything that costs $.30 per 5 pack, etc.) then it does. If you spend a little more and spring for Trident or Orbit, then not so much. It's all in the price and quality.

If your mother says "don't chew it," do you swallow it in spite? Can you catch it on your tonsils and heave it left and right? Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bedpost over night?

It really depends on what kind of gum you have and whether you have been chewing it for a long time. Right?

and, more importantly, if your mother says don't chew it, do you swallow it in fright? Can you catch it on your tonsils and heave it left and right? I don't know, does your chewing gum lose its flavour on the bedpost overnight? Ask Lonnie Donnegan! lol
