This sounds really crazy, however, it works very well, place olive oil on your skin and then wrap in tube socks or cotton gloves and go to sleep. In the morning your hands will be extremely smooth. Good luck and God bless

You may want to try Glycerin at any pharmacy, it is very inexpensive (about 3-4 dollar a 4oz bottle). Mix 2/3 glycerin with 1/3 water, this mix will last a long time. Before applying the glycerin, exfoliate your hands with brown or white sugar. Rub it slightly for one minute and rinse with water, then apply a few drops of the Glycerin. Glycerin is an emolient and it is excellent for making your hands smoother and softer!
I´ve found some glycerin online for $3.99: www.windowsbargains.com/29502, search for item:B0009ODZ0E
My family has used this recipe for generations, I´m sure you will get great results!

Exfoliate them using salt and olive oil, a teaspoon of oil and 2 teaspoons of salt. Just make sure you don't have any open cuts, salt will sting. The oil helps keep them moisturized and the salt exfoliates taking off dry, dead skin. So do this when they're wet, not dry, then when you're done wash them with soap and put lotion on afterwards if you want for even softer skin.

If you can stand constriction a little, keep the cream or oil on your hands and wrap them in plastic bags. Keep them warm around your hands as long as you can stand it. It will really get your skin soft. Actually, manicurists use this a bunch when they are doing manicures.

Try Burt's Bees Hand salve. It feels like like chap stick for hands. Another thing to try is put on a thick layer of lotion or vaseline before bed and then put on cotton gloves to hold the lotion on.
