EB Games wantes you to buy the new nintendo or ps3 soo you have to come back to them for video games and the next years new systems. They cant make any money off of computer gaming because they dont sell computer gaming hardwhare. They would rather get you to buy the new system then another... new one then another... Unlike computer gameing which only require the perchesse of new hardwhare. anything you can do on a console you can do on a Computer hints why they use computers to make the games. :-D
The only real down side to computer gaming is the fact that there is no system release date every year so there is no flood of new games to be released with it.

That is only one person's opinion, not the opinion of EB Games or Gamestop. Many years ago, EB carried a full line of PC software, ranging from Windows operating systems to productivity software. With the growing popularity of console systems, around the time that PS2 and XBOX came out, EB decided to go to selling PC games only and took in those games as trade. That proved to be a mistake, as a majority of those PC games contained CD keycodes, which can only be used once. I used to buy PC games more so than console games, but it just became too costly to keep up with system requirements, which is why PC games don't do as well as console games, unless you are into World of Warcraft.

They said the same thing about PC games about 7 years ago, it's just a phase they spike up every once in awhile to make some headlines in magazines. The fact remains that while the console games are fun, they lack the graphics, gameplay, and depth of their PC counterparts...Ya, I know..the XB 360 and PS3 have gorgeous graphix but just like their earlier systems, these graphix will be outdated within a year or two because the graphix cards for PC's are growing much faster and can be upgraded. Don't worry, PC gaming is alive and well and is only going to get stronger.

I wouldn't exactly call it a trend. But just look what's about to hit the shelves...Nintendo Wii comes out Nov 19, with the infamous and really expensive PS3 Nov 17th....it's no surprise that gamers are staring at the handhelds and not the keyboards.
But I believe EB Games is just making an opinion. It's a fact that there will always be a crowd dedicated to their computer games so they won't STOP making online games.....I know it. Most game companies who make games for the handheld systems make their games available on PC too---ya gotta share the love!

Yes, I too have noticed the depressingly small amount of PC games that EB now carries.
However, I am a firm supporter of PC games, since the variety of gameplay is far greater than any console system.
I think that in north america, pc games are losing the marketing war against consoles, (thanks to microsoft). But they will never disappear completely.
PC's are a much better investment than a console, and once you learn a thing or two about using a PC, they're much more powerful.

That's utter bologna, the PC provides gamers with more gaming ability and freedom than any console in the world, they're probably just lying to you in an attempt to convince you to buy a console, so they can get more profit, but in a short answer, the PC will always be better than consoles.

Don't worry my friend. PC gaming isn't going anywhere. Despite the fact that newer consoles are coming out, they do lack in being unable to upgrade their systems and they have many bugs starting out. Mostly due to the fact that Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony are in constant competition with each other. They rush these systems out too quickly, without checking (or in some cases, KNOWING) that their systems are faulty. Then they have to recall these systems and refurbish them with new models and/or refund or repair the ones the customers already bought. PC corporations are in competition too, but not has intense as console corporations. They can afford to take their time with their PCs and games.

With every new gen consoles coming out they are getting as powerful as a PC graphics wise...The consoles these days can play online with easier controls then the computer ( unless u get a controler for your pc ) ...So I say there about right.. the grapchics for the Xbox 360 look as good if not better then some of the PC games ...So with the next consoles I would be surprised if Pc gaming is not dead in the next 5 years.

Yeah I think I'll give it a 9.5/10. Just fix the part about the traveling on this road for 10 minutes, it doesn't really go with the song.
