To all of the people who chose to answer this question by insulting the ask-er, can we just assume that she, Oh I don't know, ASKED A QUESTION BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE? This does not mean that she is stupid, and it would be more helpful if you tried explaining the fact that the KKK is a racist organization, and the NRA is a organization about people's right to bear arms. I don't think it's at all helpful or polite to insult someone just because they didn't know something. A lot of the people in the KKK believe in the same principles or the NRA, and it is perfectly understandable why there would be some confusion between the two. Yahoo answers is about giving people the opportunity to find answers to questions in an environment where they won't feel uncomfortable, not about making yourself feel better by insulting and belittling others. Things like this really make me mad.

The kkk hates groups of people because of their race or some other stupid reason. The NRA is about the right to own guns.

I am an old timer. The NRA now stands for The National Rifle Association. In my days NRA stood for the National Recovery Act sponsored by FDR to help stimulate the economy.

No. Although I'm sure there are overlaps, the KKK is the Ku Klux Klan, NRA is the National Rifle Association.

There may be some people who belong to both. But not everyone who joins the KKK joins the NRA and not everyone who joins the NRA joins the KKK.

no. The members of the kkk can be compared to those of the black panthers, and the rainbow coalition.

The NRA is not a racist organization, like the above mentioned.
