I am in love w/ my love for 3 yrs. now. We have the oh so famous on and off relationship. But we have never been in a relationship w/anyone else. I moved back home and form school, which we both attended. H e moved back Friday, and wants us to be together. Would u be w/ him if u were in my shoes????? I love him but my mom and step dad can stand how he has treated me and they think I can do better. He doesnt want to be w/ anyone but me. Mind u we would stop talking while he was in school, and now he wants to be together. I think he uses me as the rebound girlfriend!!!! I have no proof but some things have occured and I am sore he has slept w/ someone else. So have I. But It was during a break up. What should I do, he came back to be w/ me and I badly want to be w/ him. I think he is for real this time and he wants to change and make things better. He said he will do anything for me, I want him to rekindle his relationship w/ my parents. I need help b/c I need to make a decision!! Thnks.

At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself if that is what you want. Do you want a stable reliable relationship, or a roller-coaster with high ups and low downs? Perhaps you two can have a conversation about what you think is fair to you emotionally and all, and can discuss what the future holds for you- whether it is worth going through all the uncertainty of never knowing if he will break up with you again or not.
I don't know if I would be willing to put my heart and emotions on the line again and again like that only to have them torn apart. Sooner or later, you just can't take anymore. How many times can you pick up the shattered, broken pieces of your heart before you can't put it back together again? If you can't trust someone and rely and depend on them, how can you love them with all of your being? I personally would give it a long hard thinking over before risking my love again. Best of luck.
