I used to have the same problem! I use MAC eyeliner gel w the MAC 269 angle brush. The great thing is that you don't have to line the top lid in one motion - you can take your time sliding the brush across and even stop and start again. Check it out!

Get a soft eyeliner, but not the pencil kind. The good kind is the kind that twists up. I think it's Revlon. Pull the outer corner of your eye so your top lid is a straight line. Start in the inner corner and draw a thin line along your lash line, resting your hand on your cheekbone. Make the line thicker if you want. Good luck! If that kind of liner doesn't work, try getting a small angle brush wet, and use a dark shadow the same way.

Although it takes practise to put on eyeliner evenly, try a liner from Boots No.7 Range "Precision Eye Pen". It is more like a felt tip pen, but feels quite solid, so the brush does not got all over the place. And when applying, firstly pull the eye slightly outward with the opposite hand and then you should get and even line to extend out as far as you want.

Use Bodyshop liquid eyeliner. I could never use liquid eyeliner before I found this product. With one hand pull your eyelid slightly to stretch it (so that you draw the line as close to the lash as possible). Don't worry about it too much and just draw the line. The Bodyshop one is good because it is a solid brush and therefore doesn't go everywhere. Then I smudge the line with my finger, so even if I've made a mistake it doesn't matter!

I wear liquid eyeliner on my top lids everyday and I use YvesSaint Laurent as its defo the best one- the brush tip is ever so small and gives u a very precise line!!
Its one of those things though that practice makes perfect but this product defo gives u a head start!

firstly go for a pencil eyeliner as it doesnt show the mistakes as much, liquid eyeliner is easier to go wrong and harder to rectify. you can smudge it into place with a pencil eyeliner but not with liquid so much.
keep the liner as close to the lashes as possible and follow the lash line along until you reach the corner and then just gradually build it up if you want it thicker.
i'm a makeup artist and show people all the time. just remember to use your lash line as a guide.
when buying your eyeliner be careful not to buy the 'kohl' pencil as this is more for smokey eyes so will end up smudging and generally not lasting as a normal eyeliner.

I cant do that well Either you can try 2 things 1.) pull your lid tight and just apply to the inner and outter corner or 2.) get the eye shadows that come in there own "matching" triple shades you apply the middle shade color all over lid to brow and the light shade along brow then the darkest shade alond lid line eliminating the need for top liner.

Hi, eyeliner looks false if you flick it out! Unless that's the look you want! It's easier to use a soft chunky pencil eyeliner and go along the top and bottom lash line then smudge it so it looks like part of your natural eye contour, just add mascara and you'll look wide eyed and alluring!

Use a soft kohl eyeliner (I use perfect point plus by covergirl) and aim for the center of your eyelashes...rest your palm on your cheekbone for a straight line..that should do the trick! Just don't use a pencil that pulls on your eyelid. That will make the liner skip.

I use Mary Kay brown eyeliner. It looks good and very easy to glide. Open your eyes and look straight. Gently pull corner of eyes downward and apply eyeliner with other hand.
