The question asks for force. Heinz gave you a mass whose weight would give you the right force. JamieKids... gave you the right equation, remember to convert the mass of the load to weight first.

find the equilibrium equation for the forces x distance from the fulcrum

ie F1xD1=F2xD2

fill in the values you know and you will end up with the force you need to know
