Why all countries fear US?

It appears that all countries fear US and by this they can change the world opinion as they like whether it right or wrong.

We have to accept the fact that the US is the only super-power left in the world today. No country or people will impoverish itself or give up the benefits that prosperity bestows; the consequences notwithstanding.Some might do it more efficiently; others less so. This involves the basic question of the survival of the fittest nation, of all against all, in a world increasingly ruled by THE fittest nation which today happens to be the United States. Bible says once upon a time there was a king called Herod and he wanted to kill all the male child in his country fearing anyone will become better king after him. Similarly US thinks everyday that somebody will attack us and US started attacking ,or threatening all countries whoever have bomb. But most of the countries like India continued Nuclear testing least bothered about the possible sanctions. India said that there can be two world that one with all countries having nuclear weapons or there is no nuclear weapons in the world at all.But India said that they cannot allow some countries who are permenant members of security council have nuclear weapons and others cannot. So where do you see fear in this.

There are some countries fearing US because there are no Organisation in the world which governs irresponsible attack and invasion of one country by another. You can see UN also failed to persuade US against attacking iraq after UN weapons inspector confirming that there are NO WMD in Iraq.

There aren't many countries that fear us. All intelligent people know that America is not looking to acquire additional territory. If fact, we've given away the Phillipines and Cuba. The Western nations that had outlying possessions have given those territories their independence when the mother country thought they were able to govern themselves.
In most cases, the only outlying territories still owned by America and the European countries are those that chose to remain attached.
So why should any nation fear us ? If they attack America, they will have a lot to fear, otherwise we all live in pease.

I could give a damn if someone doesn't like me or other Americans. They don't know me or the other 99% of the population. They are just generalizing. Most people that travel from America are rich snobs anyways. And most of the people that travel here from other countries mainly go to New York which is full of arrogant *******. Go down south or come here to Minnesota. Everyone is nice. And no, no one should fear Americans. The government maybe, but even the Americans themselves are scared that the government will do something stupid. We put on our pants one leg at a time just like everybody else.

this how ever is not true. No one fears the US. They think that since one group of people have gotten passed the airports and now they all think they can get by us. So they are sneaking and acting like they are better. So they can do w/e they want but in the end the US will bit them in the butt

Why do you think all countries fear us? No doubt many do, & this is not necessarilly a bad thing. I think the 2 most common feelings toward the US are respect & fear. Good guys respect us. Bad guys fear us. Sounds good to me.

The Fear us because we are Bullies and use our power of military to start phony wars to intimidate, steal wealth or murder other peoples. We have no morals, we have no integrity, we have no honesty. We have become a cruel country demanding that everyone worship Bush-Cheny. They have distroyed all good will
