No. You need to wait until you would expect a period and then take a home pregnancy test. These tests pick up slight levels of HCG hormone and it would be too low until about 14 days or so after conception. If you test now, you will just be donating around 10$ to the company that makes the test. Good luck!

LOL...no you need to wait at least 3-4 weeks

Two Kinds of Pregnancy Test:

Urine test: also called home pregnancy tests. Most home pregnancy tests can tell if you are pregnant about the time you would expect to get your period. (ie 4weeks after conception).

Blood test: usually done at your doctor's office or at a health clinic. This test can tell if you are pregnant about a week before you would expect to get your period. (3weeks after conception).

If you take a home pregnancy test and the result is positive, you should see your doctor to confirm the results. Your doctor will likely do a confirming blood test or urine pregnancy test and a pelvic exam to check the size and shape of your uterus (womb). This will help the doctor determine how far along the pregnancy is.

No! Sperm live inside a woman for 72 hours. During ovulation an egg is released. The sperm fertilizes the egg while it is still in the ovary or the fallopian tube. It then takes 5 days for the fertilized egg to travel down the fallopian tube into your uterus. Your body will not start releasing the pregnancy hormone until a couple of days before your period or after your missed period. Don't listen to anyone telling you any different. My guess is that they've never been pregnant before or they're too young to know.

Early pregnancy test have a 53% rate of being accurate AS EARLY as 4 days before your expexted missed period. Each day closer to when you would expect your period the tests get more accurate. As soon as you miss your period they're better than 99% accurate.

One day after sex the egg probably isn't even fertalized yet so no pregancy test would work, not even a blood test from a doctor.

Good luck

No. It takes 7 days just for the egg to fertilize. It's best to wait until your first missed period, but I think there are new tests on the market that can detect 5 days before your missed period.

No. You need to wait and give it time. If you take it now, it will probably say no, unless you got pregnant before this past time. It will take the "Swimmers" a little time. If you miss a period, I would tell you to take a test and see if you are pregnant.

YES, give it a week! If you feel like it's a strong possibility and you made a mistake morning after pill is the way to go.

It is too early. If you are hoping to be pregnant, be patient! If you are hoping you aren't pregnant, you can still use Emergency Contraception for 3 days after sex.
