you guys are all naming running backs and QB's.. the best guy to ever play football is Reggie White no one can stop his defensive line sack skills.. he was the only one that scared all those big O -linemen that went up against him...he is number 2 in sacks all time just 2 sacks under bruce smith for the number one spot..

Football is really a team sport, your question is controversial but a bit meaningless. A good QB, RB will need good protection to work well. Montana will need Jerry Rice and vice versa.

I will suggest you breakdown into position and we can have more meaningful discussion.

even though he has never won a super bowl, i would say dan marino. and for the person saying mcnabb, come on and get real. after today's game i am sure you would rethink that.
