The first two answers are correct if that's what you were asking. I can only add that in addition to making a healthy fruit juice, they also make grenadine, an extremely sweet additive to mixed drinks such as tequila sunrises. It's not only the name of the fruit, but also the name of the tree.
A "pome" is a fruit with a core, such as an apple, pear, etc...
