Let them serve, anyone who is willing to die for this country deserves a metal! I also think that the "don't ask, don't tell" policy is crap! If you are good enough to serve then the government should just be grateful and shut the hell up about it! Bravo to any Gays in the military! I am glad you have such honor and courage!

Anyone who is willing to risk having a hole blown through their head during combat has my respect, simply put. It doesn't matter what their sexual orientation is, they are still just as important as any other heterosexual man serving in the military. And don't you straight fellows start feeding me that "but they might look at me" crap. I really doubt that in a full blown battle one of the gay men will try to touch your as$, or even think about it for that matter.

i think they should be able to serve in the military. it doesnt bother me at all. some are already in the military, they are quiet about their sexuality. i dont think any exceptions should be made for them. i have the same opinion of women stepping into a mans job. i dont think women should be treated any differently in the military than a man. its a tough job, the people who do the job should be tough. congratulations to anyone who feels they are strong enough to do it.

As long as they do their job, and it doesn't interfere with it, I don't have a problem. Just like women; if they can do the job, fine. But if they can't do it, they need to do something else.

I think that anyone that wants to should serve in the Armed Forces... I also think that homosexuality is disgusting! I personally wouldnt want my fellow Marine watching my back... GROSS
