With only 52,000 miles on it, that car is not even broken in yet. I have seen many Accords with over 250,000 miles and still running strong. New tires are cheaper than a new car payment.

i drive a 95 honda accord and it has 225,000 miles and is still running strong. I dont see the need to trade that car in because it will last you a very long time. If you do want to get rid of it though, do it privately, dont go to a dealer because you can make on that accord maybe 5000 more than what the dealer will give you. good car, but be smart about trading it in. Its a good car and a lot of people like it. it also has very good rep and you can sell it privately for a lot more.

The trader will not compensate you fully for better tyres. They can replace them very much more cheaply than a member of the public. So in terms of expense, if you are going to trade it, do not bother with new tyres. Leave the old ones on.
However, if you will be driving the car for a significant mileage BEFORE you trade it, you must consider the extra safety afforded with better tyres.
Remember, traders get everything much more cheaply than 'us' ordinary citizens. Their business is to maximise their profits when dealing with the public!

If you don't have a huge need for a different car why would you trade this one?
I'd put great tires on it and drive it for a good long time.

IF YOUR PLANNING ON TRADING IT IN FOR A NEW CAR I'D SAVE YOU MONEY ON THE TIRES. THE DEALER ISN'T GONNA GIVE YOU A PENNY MORE FOR THEM. THEY SCREW EVERYBODY THAT GOES THERE.
