What do you call it, pop or soda? And, where are you from?

I call it pop, and im from Michigan.

Jamie louise- no, this yankees not freezing yet, i have a really cool new thing called a jacket,and it was almost 70 degrees today. :)

I prefer the word soda and i'm from NC....

I grew up in Florida and they called it soda. I remember the first time we visited family in West Virginia and they asked me if I wanted a Pop. Growing up a pop was smack across the head. I said no thank you.

Now that I live in Ohio, 30 years later, they use the term Pop here. I still say soda.

i prefer pop, although most people around here call it soda. Some people here call it sody or sody pop - that makes me wanna puke.

everyone where I live (MN) calls it pop. I've heard of places where people will call it "Coke", even though it may not be Coca-Cola, but I don't recall where it is.
