I had the same thing with all three pregnancies (braxton hicks in the second trimester, lots of cramping in the 1st), and i delivered at 37, 34 & 36 weeks. Your doc can just keep an eye on you for signs of effacement & dilating, and he/she can also do a fetal fibronectin test to help predict your chances of early labor for the 2 wks following the test.
And, I'm sure you're sick of hearing this, but take a break when your body tells you to. All the errands & housework that seem soooooo important right now can wait. If you get the contractions while you're doing something on your feet, sit down or take a cat nap. If you get them while you're resting, get up & do something for a few minutes.
Good luck!!!!

Braxton Hicks contractions final for aproximately 30 seconds to two mins and are sometimes called train contractions. You might train respiring sporting events to get able for the truly factor. If the contractions fade, don't get more potent or extra extreme, and don't have a suite time among them, then it's Braxton Hicks and you've got not anything to fear approximately.

i experienced that with my 2 year old but i started having braxton hicks around 32 weeks. I had her 4 days before my due date so i didnt affect my pregnancy or put me in premature labor. it just made me very uncomfortable for the last 2 months. Good luck to you.

I did experience them, a week and a half later, I went into labor, I was 2 weeks early, but the baby came out just fine, no problems what so ever.
My co-worker also experienced them 4 days before she went into actual labor, she did have her baby premature though, a month and a half early...
The best you could do is take it as easy as possible, but if your baby is ready, there isn't much you could do...you'll be fine...

I had lots of BH cx during both pregnancies, first was born a couple weeks early, second was on my due date. I got them more and more the farther along I was too.
Try to relax, don't worry unless your doc thinks it's a concern; you'll start going to weekly appointments soon.

i was about 20 weeks with my daughter, she was born exactly on her due date, but i really think everyone is different depending on all the other variables of your lifestyle
