I think he will go to an AL team so that he has a better chance at reaching Hank Aaron's record. If he stays in SF, he would have to play LF part of the time and his knee isn't in the best shape to do it, so he will end up going to a team that can use a DH and a power hitter, unless he feels SF is the best place for him

I wish he'd retire, but he is a free agent, and I'd believe that only the Yankees or Red Sox could afford the salary he'll command. His knees can't really hold up to play the field well anymore, so DH'ing is a good option, and he did hit 27 HR's in 373 AB's last year, so he can still hit the long ball, even if his strength is probably manufactured.

Knowing the status of Bonds and the way he wants to hit a bunch of homeruns every year, he'd probably go to a high payroll AL team like the New York Yankees and be their fulltime DH.

The Giants are probably the only team that will even offer him a contract. Besides, if he goes to the AL and DHs it will definitely cheapen the record.

He filed for free agency so i guess that means he is leaving.
I would like to see him stay and get the record and then retire. I know that he probably sheated but who cares, steroids or not that many home runs is not easy.

From what I have heard the Angels are interested as well as the Yankees, If he goes to NY he will be closer to drug dealers for his steroids. As for Anahiem. Anahiem has more money to spend and warmer weather for his knees.
