This is apersonal guess ;Rats although a rodent is still a mamal class. There are 50 rat species, there are 3 human races in one species.
Of hand I am not sure of the number(no one is) of rats or cousins there are, but there are 6 billion humans, and there probly about 1000 rats for every human if not more.

Rats. At one point in New York it was estimated there were well over twice as many rats as people. There's two major species of rats, the brown rat and the black rat. There can be millions of bats in a single roost so they would have to be a close contender.
