maybe that is why. because you do respect them and dont drool all over them, because that is what they are used to. i think its because number 1 you seem like a challenge to them, number 2 the respect you have is very appealing ,and number 3 you are safe to them.

When I bar-tended, and got hit on by random men... The only men that felt safe were the ones I worked with.
The men that were hitting on me were objectifying me, while the guys I worked with were friends that respected me as a person, not an object.
I developed crushes on plenty of the men at work, but didn't act on them as I don't mix work and dating either.
The women that you are working with have made a career out of being objectified. You are a safe man and likely a friend to all of them. I understand why they'd develop crushes on you.
Good for you for not dating them... these girls need safe male friend that they can trust in their lives.
