My Math Teacher is the one who started this conflict and wont leave me alone until I put them on but for me putting them on is like hell. What should I do? Please help.

You know, glasses aren't all that un-cool anymore. There are many different modern styles now. Take it from someone who already went through this same sort of situation with my own parents and I wouldn't fight them on this. When you're out on your own you can wear no glasses or contacts.

I wore glasses since I was 8. A few pointers:
#1 Feel proud of you who are. REGARDLESS
#2 Don't feel bad about the glasses, you could have been BLIND!
#3 ask your parents for contacts. Maybe they are not aware of your complications.
#4 Get neat ones, those that make you llok like a movie star, or a stud, etc.
#5 Use them only when necesassy.
#6 Make up a story that your eyes ahve a special condition that does not cope very well with contacts.
#7 Enjoy life as a whole! Don't let this become bigger than it should be.
#8 Come to peace with God. Altouhg he could have mede you with a 20/20 vision he wants you to go through this for a purpose.
WORK YOUR BEST!

First of all, I would like to address whether or not they are reading glasses. If they are only reading glasses, then honey, you are lucky! Reading glasses make a person look smart and it is way sexy. Wear them proudly!

If they aren't, then what is the major malfunction? Glasses are still very sexy, but the key to sexy glasses is the frames. Do your frames look dorky? If so, just beg dad to take you to the optometrist and get the lens transferred.

In the end though, who really cares?! If you can be confident and healthy, than anyone will think you are sexy.

If this doesn't help, or I'm missing the actual problem, just message me. I'll try my best to give a better answer.

could the problem be your parents are forcing you, glasses make many people look cool, just wear the glasses when you need them. Like math class and take them off at lunch. The more you wear them the more comfortable you will feel in them and i think that it would be more embarrassing to have your dad make you put them in then you just quietly putting them on. Hope this helps. And if anybody says anything then tell them they are jealous they don't look as good as you

Look, if you need to wear glasses to see and do well in school, then wear them. I know 8th grade can be hell and kids can be cruel, but most people don't look that bad with glasses on. Granted, most of those people do look better without the glasses, but some people find glasses very attractive and believe that it makes them ook smarter. I don't know if self consciousness is the issue here or not, but if you are being forced to wear the glasses, might as well make the most of it and get glasses that you like and that flatter your face. Good Luck!

Wearing glasses is fine ... I'm in high school and I still wear glasses. Granted, most people don't, but still. I feel like they're a part of me now ... I've been wearing them since 2nd grade. There are lots of new styles and stuff, just pick out a cool one.
Guys in glasses are cute!

You should get some cute fashionable glasses. Believe it or not, glasses can be cute and they'll play up your eyes! Or you should try realllly hard to convince your 'rents to get you some contacts. Find out the pro's and con's and read up on safety with contacts. Show your parents the info you have, and they'll probably be impressed enough to set up an appointment to get you contacts. You can also ask your eye doctor about them, he/she should know about it. Talk with your eye doctor and have your parents with you. They'll appreciate you're going the extra mile. Good luck!

Keep your glasses case in your pocket, and only wear your glasses when you need them. You can put them on when your teacher is around or when you need to read something on the whiteboard, but then you don't have to wear them at lunch or in between classes.

Talk to your parents about contacts and if they won't get them for you ask them for a better pair of glasses. Something that you are comfortable wearing.
