i have inhereted a golden pendant from my grandmother in it a coin from the year 1333!! its an egyptian coin. i have no idea what its value is.. i dunno what to do with it????

Egypt uses the AH calendar rather than the AD (Christian era) calendar. This is year 1427 on the AH calendar. AH 1333 is AD 1914.
It's still very cool, though. If your local library has a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins (Krause Publications), you can find out a lot more about your coin. I definitely would not sell it till you know what it is.

I would call a reputable jeweler in your area and ask if they know where you can get a reliable valuation on the piece.

Then you need to call your homeowner's/renter's insurance agent and put the piece on its own rider on your policy. If you were to be robbed or if your home burned, this would in all likelihood not be covered.

why don't you keep it in your family and use it as somewhat of a family airloom. It does have sentimental worth right?
