I'll admit up front - I'm biased. I teach SATs for Kaplan, and I fully believe our program is better. We offer a comprehensive, 3-part Higher Score guarantee; we offer free make-up classes anywhere in the United States (think spring break, band/sports trips, etc), trained teachers, 20 full-length practice tests, online workshops and quizzes to add variety to (you knew it was coming!) homework, and answers&explanations to help you diagnose your weaknesses so you can turn them into strengths.

Do your research! Call TPR and ask them why you should study with them. Call your local Kaplan center (or 1-800-Kap-Test) and ask why you should study with us. I'm sure you'll make the decision that's right for you :)

They all grarentee a better score. Kaplan usually offeres the highest at 200 points more. Usually its worth it (but expensive) for the first time test taker. I would sugguest that if you are a motivated person and can do so by yourself try buying a Kaplan book and follow there test taking steps. There are a few practice tests in each book. Good Luck.

Personally, I think Kaplan classes are the best thing to take for SAT prep. I attended Kaplan and it helped me alot. I got really good scores but ya its expensive.
