Yes. I'm assuming you want to get a PhD in medicine. Some schools offer dual PhD/MD program, very competitive to get in, but here are the schools to consider: Brown, John Hopkins and Harvard.

Yes....its alot of work. An MD is a medical license to practice medicine of some kind. A Ph.D is a doctoral degree where your cannot practice medicine. ............. i think

my father is a psychiatrist and has both in his title. he did go to graduate school for 5 yrs though.
