Hi I'm a weather person (meteorologist) and you need lots of practice in math and science. The study of weather is actually very advanced science and you may not understand a lot of the concepts until high school or college. Pay attention in all of your science classes because stuff you learn well now will help you when you get to more advanced courses.

One thing that you can do now while you're young is keep a weather journal. Many times, future weather predictions can be made by studying trends of recent days. Also, study your cloud types and take measurements of temperature and rainfall/snowfall. The more you study the weather, the more you will learn!
