I sprayed some aerosol glue inside and pressed it up. It worked OK.

I had a 77 Chevrolet caprice 4 door and a 89 Chevrolet celebrity wagon this happened too. I picked up 3/8 wood dowel rods 5 feet long that were flexible and cut to fit the width, stuck them ( the rods) in the upper inside right and left window upper horizontal trim moldings to hold the headliner up spacing the rods approx 12" apart.

Take out the foam pad and remove the lining. Then take some carpet glue and cover it with automotive carpet. Good luck.

They sell special headliner thumbtacks at any automotive store (for example- Autozone).

take it to an apostry shop. Its not to expensive to have it replaced
