Personally, I think the interview would have gone quite differently if it was Materazzi and Seedorf (or any black player for that matter). Not that youd be likely to see a black player being interviewed on Italian TV. Even George Weah was only interviewed twice. And he was the Best Player in the World! Racism is deep seeded in Italian football, and I dont think anyone embodies it more than Marco. Rumor has it (and this is just a rumor) the he was the reason Martins left Inter.
But this is just my personal opinion.

Hey I didn't get a chance to watch the interview yet. I'm sure he's a great guy. He definately is a good player. However, he does seem to be a bit of a s h i t disturber on the field. He scored that goal yesterday against Milan and got another yellow card right after. I wonder why......hum? lol
By the way haven't had time to log into your website lately. Been really busy. It's really cool though

You know that I had to answer this one.
Maradona Jr_Revenge is 100% right.
It doesn't matter how Materazzi disguises himself in an interview and how sweet he wants everyone to think he is, what counts here is how savagely he plays and how he loses respect towards other players. And, I see that you are just a kid then I would sincerely advise you to stay away from man like that.

maybe he is not mean outside the pitch i really donot know him but inside the pitch as kaka said by himself in the interview he can be so nasty i have watched a video for him in the youtube he was really nasty he hit sorin the argentenian player and the blood was all over his face!! so may be he is not mean outside the pitch i admit that he is really a good player but sooooo rough
watch these videos and see what he did to poor sorin and that is another one for his most famous fouls he made in the league

marco is a lionheart, he is not mean, just tough and strong,
he learnt to score so much lately, against Livorno and Milan,
great headers, he surely know how to use the head :)

Materazzi isn't mean, each player has a different style of playing, actually I think Materazzi was very smart in being able to get under Zidane's skin!! Italy ended up winning the trophy!!
