We bought 5 HUGE tropical house plants at Home Depot. They were on clearance for $5 each, but they were labled as just tropical house plants, no species or common names.
Where is a good website where I can ID these plants? Pictures for comparison are needed.
Thanks for your help!

Do you have ANY idea at all what family they belong to?

Our home depot sells mostly palms (usually majesty palms), dracaenas, spathyphyllum (peace lily), some ficus.

If you care to send digital picture so me at jaycubb@yahoo.com, I can probably identify them for you.

HGTV.com has a link to "Rebecca's Garden " and "Gardening by the Yard" - either of these sights most likely have what you need. Happy houseplants! I know from my research that I feed palm fertilizer to my tropical houseplants. You can find this at lots of stores, including Walmart.
