They were until a couple of days ago when a young lad blew off most of his hand and part of his face, it's all quiet now thanks to the police clamping down and the publicity the story has recieved on the news.

You need to find out if you are being targeted, or if there are just some obnoxious kids in the area. If so, its an easy matter of calling the police. Ordinarily I would recommend you take a direct approach to the perpetrators but in this case it sounds like you're going to need some law enforcement. Most neighborhoods have noise ordinances.

they bloody are it's v.annoying
i think they are ok for displays but honestly anyone young or old can get their hands on them, they are as bad as weapons!!!
even though i used to enjoy family bonfire nights when i was a lad kids aren't the same and i think all private bonfires should be banned and only fireworks should be provided for public displays
thankyou for letting me have a little rant about this it's been buggin' me for a while now!!!

well yeeeess this is the purpose of fireworks, you see they make a big bang which travels through the air, making it sound like its above you,
however i dont think its because of bonfire night nearing, i rekon its mad scientist trying to prove the big bang theory, maybe they will create a mini solar system in the sky.

Yeah that happens around where I live but I got used to them. I sometimes even hear bulletshots but thank god none of my family members have been hurt by them.
And I live in California, Los Angeles.
