There are some good answers here. I agree with the first two. And, music theatre is a great place to put your ballet work to use. I am in "Oklahoma!" right now and a lot of the songs have a ballet.
It's not really an agency, but you'll need an agent when you get older in music theatre.
For dancing with a ballet company, you don't. Recommendations work wonders though from previous choreographers and teachers, but no agent is needed.
13 is probably a little young, most companies don't tour with 13 year olds, but once you learn a lot more and have more experience in a few years, you can get into companies. But it's great that you are looking now, good luck and have fun in ballet!

To start your career in ballet, you will need to apply to ballet companies to get a job (just the same way you would get a job as a clerk or a secretary, except that you will have to do an audition instead of an interview). Companies don't hire dancers for individual performances (gigs) - the only exceptions are famous dancers who are invited for guest performances.

If you want to get into musicals rather than ballet, then you would need to audition for individual shows, and in that situation, some dancers do get an agent. You might also use an agent if you have put together a cabaret show and are trying to get club and party gigs.

Yes. Well, ballet dances don't do anything. It's the ballet dancers who perform. And yes, most companies do have a resident agent, who arranges performances for the company. There are virtually no solo ballet dancers giving performances outside of a company, although a guest artist may be invited to star in a particular ballet. But the ballet company is there to dance the remainder of the parts.
So in answer to your question, ballet dancers do not usually have individual agents and in the ballet world, performances are not called gigs.
