If you know anyone who actually sold their soul to the devil and got something in return, such as we see in movies, then let me know.

Who knows? They were awesome either way. I have heard Stairway to Heaven backwards (i think that's the one with the alleged message...) and I have to admit that it did sound kind of like a satanic message, but it's pretty nonsensical and a bit dubious as to whether they are actually words or just weird sounds that someone was desperate to make into words. Even if it is a satanic message, who knows if they were serious or doing it for a bit of fun to see who noticed, or a publicity stunt? Personally I don't care anyway, they made great music.

I think you have Led Zepplin confused with Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones---he was in line in front of me when we sold our souls to Mr. Beezlebub.....Happy Halloween!

NO i dint' think so it was rumored that Jimmy Page dabbled in the black art's , maybe .... they were big fans of the lord of the rings , some songs are based on that story , i believe they fancied themselves as troubadours or knights of old , it's the English Celtic thing

If they had sold their souls, their music would have been better. Don't get me wrong, Led Zeppelin is good, but it's not soul-sellin' good.

No, they are not satinists or Satanists. They are one of my favorites! I'm just an old[er] hippie. Still lovin' Zepplin, Z Z Topp, Black Sabbath, AC/DC...oh, yeah, they don't make 'em like they used to. That is why everybody these days dig on that music, it still rocks!

Satinists?-I doubt it
Satanists?-I don't think so?

Zep's cool but the band has this mythical status. How much of their records are strange bluegrass/folk crap?

If that's true, then they got the short end of the deal.

THEY NEVER RECEIVED THEIR TALENT!
