Well, its election time over there right?
Both sides (and even independents if there are any) will want to make sure they have votes, so I wouldnt be surprised if Democrats or whatever try to buy votes this time.

Why would Democrats pay you?
If you are gay, vote Democrat, and they end up in office, they would at least try to protect your rights? If you are gay, vote republican, and end up in office, what will they do for you?
