Sometimes the real problem is a battery that's about to keel over.
I have this problem with Japanese maodels. I know that the battery is going when the engine takes a longer time to crank and fire up. The other problem I notice, is that the power windows and door lock actuators sometimes don't work. If I keep using the battery, I usually have to change the fuse for the actuator or other devices. So check your fuses. It is usually under the dash, closest to the driver.

The real solution would be to change the battery and check your charging system. Check to see that the red charging light goes off when the engine is running. If it does not go off or comes on sometimes, then the you have to get a professional to check your alternator. Your battery can survive the demands but will eventually go belly up. Next, check to see if the battery terminals are snug and free of corrosion.

If every thing is ok, and your battery has given you average life service, then it is time to change to change the battery. Average life depends on quality of battery and maybe anything between 18mths to 36 mths.

Note that changing your battery and not ensuring that your charging system is sound would reduce the lifespan of your new battery.

Sounds like a bad door switch...the car thinks a door is open. Check all of your door switches and make sure that when you close the door, the door open indicator goes out. Good luck.

You have a short most likely between the door lock circuit and the floor lamp circuit. Got to trace the wires and see where they are contacting together----then fix em!

Check your fuses to see if any blew out. If you don't know their location, check in your manual.
