Hubby and I are planning to visit Chicago next weekend, and will be taking a train into Union Station. Here are my questions: A) Does Union Station have lockers we can use for the day that we're there, and B) Are the lockers big enough do store a carry-on bag in?

We're going to be on the train Friday night and Saturday night, so we're going to need at least a change of clothes. I think a carry-on bag will be big enough for those basic things. I'm just wondering if the locker will be big enough for that. Thanks in advance!!

You can call Union Station directly at (312) 322-6777. There are storage lockers there - I've seen them, they have keypad locks - but I'm not sure what hours they are open. They seemed relatively big, but the people there should be able to give you information on that.

Union Station is a good start off point for Chicago, by the way. The L train that takes you in and around the loop is only three blocks east on Adams ("Quincy Station"), and when doing so you walk right past the Sears Tower.

Yes, on both counts, I went thru Union Station when I was taking the train to Cincinnati... and the lockers are like those at an airport.

I have seen storage lockers there, I don't know if they are big enough, although they seem pretty big.
