Movie tickets, so you can both go. Gift certificate to his fav store. My son always appreciated the gift certificate from his girlfriend. Or a sweatshirt. He did get a sweatshirt from his g/f and wore the thing til it fell apart. It had his favorite band on it.

Give him something that shows the dynamic of your relationship. If you two laugh alot, get him a $20 or under random thing from the toy section at Walmart that makes you crack up just looking at it. For guys of this age (or any age) anything with ninjas ought to be a plus. If that isn't his thing write him a letter, with a box of chocolates, and rent a movie. Make it an event, a good date.

Give him a CD that has songs on it that you both enjoy. There's never a bad time to give good music! Make a special, personal card to go with it. Add a candy bar or other little treat and there you are.

You.
A smile, a hug or a few nice words in his ear.
it doesn't matter if you are 15 or 50
in the end
bits of plastic and shiny stones mean nothing
'YOU' are what your b/f g/f wants.
just be sensible about how much you give away for free

Anything to do with food. A gift card to any of the places he likes to eat, or a gift card from the movie theater you guys go to.
