Everyone thinks they will be ok just eating bloodworms and pellets but they need algea to or they get what is called swim bladder disorder. you see the get consipated and dont feel well. first read this web site and see if this looks like your fish: http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images/view?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Dswim%2520bladder%2520disorder%2520betta%26rs%3D0%26ei%3DUTF-8%26fr%3Dslv8-msgr%26fr2%3Dtab-web&w=500&h=191&imgurl=bettas.fishjunkies.com%2Fimages%2FSBD2.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fbettas.fishjunkies.com%2FDisorders%2Fsbd.php&size=13.4kB&name=SBD2.jpg&p=swim+bladder+disorder+betta&type=jpeg&no=2&tt=4&oid=226398d20b6e591a&ei=UTF-8 then, clean his tank. give him a cooked pea- not hot. He could die from this even if you do every thing. good luck- and i hope that this is what's wrong with him!

Unfortunately, he's dying. Sorry! I hope it doesn't drag on too long. Someone told me once that if you put the fish that's dying into very cold water, it will die quickly and less painful. But I don't know how anyone knows what the fish is feeling so I guess it's a matter of what you feel is best.

Hmmm your fish isnt doing properly... did you enable the water stand for long adequate earlier you place him lower back into it once you wiped sparkling it? Did you take care of the water? Does he have white spots on him? If he has white spots then he has "ick" you're able to purchase some drops on the puppy keep referred to as for loss of a greater physically powerful be conscious "ick out". stable success along with your fish!!

the betta is going to die on you soon but I would you if it is in a tank with other fish then try and put it by itself.

My fish did that. At first i thought he was dead, but he turned out just to be asleep. However, you might want to see a vet. My pet, though, did the same thing.

He's really not doing too well. He may pull through, but be prepared that he may die.
