I know of none?

I presume you are speaking of basic trinominals?

2x(squared) - 3x -1 = 0?0 or along those lines?

give me an example of your trinomial many many exist

thanks

This is a good trick(for simple equations)
Example: x(squared)+5x+6
Find two numbers that multiply to 6, BUT add to 5.
The numbers are 2 and 3.
(x+2)(x+3) then distribute to check.
Basically, find two numbers that multiply to the third part of the trinomial but it has to equal the second part of the trinomial.
Also:
x(squared)-5x-6
If the trinomial is all negative Except the first part, then the two numbers you will find have to be negative.
Example:
x(squared)-6x-8
The two numbers are -2 and -4
(x-2)(x-4)

If the first sign is positive and the second sign is negative (and vice-versa) the two numbers will be one negative and one positive.
Example:
x(squared)-1+6
the two numbers are -3 and 2
(x-3)(x+2)

As for other complicated ones, try at looking at the other comments.

Look to the left of the screen, you will see the word Factor under Algebra near the top.
